The front design (right) features a japanese wave, a dragon (symbol of my country and mascot of my old school), a tree and a girl. Truthfully, I just added the girl because I like drawing long hair. The quote says "Do what you love, fortune will follow."
The back design (left) features a phoenix (the counterpart of a dragon, in China), and floral/wing/ribbon designs inspired by the artwork of Julie Hill [link]
I have yet to add quotes to the ribbons. Any suggestions?

Did you used sand paper before the painting? for varnish removing? did you varnished at the end?
